Course information

This qualification is designed for individuals who are new to the field and aspire to become Allied Health Assistants, with the goal of gaining entry into sectors such as aged care, disability, and other health-related areas. In their role, they will provide assistance to Allied Health Professionals (AHP) under their delegation and supervision.

The level of supervision can vary, including direct, indirect, or remote oversight, depending on the specific scope of practice and experience of the individual Allied Health Assistant.

To attain this qualification, candidates are required to complete a minimum of 120 hours of clinical placement, as outlined in the Assessment Requirements of the competency units.
