This qualification is specifically crafted for individuals who need additional development of foundational skills to ready themselves for entry into the workforce or to pursue vocational training opportunities.

It is well-suited for individuals who are seeking:

  1. A pathway to employment or further vocational training.
  2. Competence in reading, writing, oral communication, learning, and numeracy, primarily aligned with the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3.
  3. Basic proficiency in digital literacy and employability skills.
  4. A vocational training and employment plan.

It’s important to note that Foundation Skills Training Package qualifications may not always be stipulated as prerequisites for entry into vocational qualifications.
