About the course
The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support has been designed specifically for students who are wishing to gain employment in the Support Services, providing support to individuals with living with the results of Ageing and/or Disabilities.
The Certificate III in individual support reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support
Reasons for Studying?

- According to the Australian Government’s Job Outlook service, the number of people working as aged and disability carers is forecast to grow very strongly in the coming years.
Delivery Methods:
South Australia – 10 Week Course
- 6 weeks in campus, Monday – Friday 8:45am to 3:00pm.
- 4 weeks or 120 hours of work-placement which is guaranteed by us!
Queensland – 12 Week Course
- 8 weeks in campus, Monday – Thursday 8:45am to 3:00pm.
- 4 weeks or 120 hours of work-placement which is guaranteed by us!
Entry Requirements:
National Program,
- Completion of grade 12 or 10 or equivalent
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) abilities.
RPL,
Did you start working in the industry without getting nationally accredited with this qualification? Potentially RPL is the way to go.
