CHC30308 Certificate III in Home and Community Care

With the Aging population Home and Community Care is attracting increased Government funding and emphasis and is a rapid is a growth industry in Australia. It is available in all areas of the community and there is increasing demand for workers in the field to comply with minimum standards.

Potential clients for this course are both new entrants to the industry who require a broad and comprehensive grounding in the skills required to perform effectively in the industry as well as persons who are currently working in the industry who have not had the opportunity to gain the expected qualification.

This is the neccessary and approved minimum qualification for persons working in the field of Community Care, particularly in the field of Aged Care and Disability. It may be considered as an additional qualification to A certificate 3 in Aged Care or in Disability but may stand on it\'s own. Persons wishing to complete the Certificate 3 in home and community care who already have completed a Certificate 3 in Aged Care or in Disability are likely to be eligible for significant Recognition of Prior Learning and may be eligible to complete several units by E-Learning.

  • School leavers
  • Unemployed workers
  • Those wishing to gain entry to a different industry sector
  • Persons returning to the workforce following prolonged absence
  • Unqualified workers within the industry sector

 

14 units are selected for this qualification including:
- 10 compulsory units
